CONTACTfile will, from time to time, be replaced with a newer version. These are free during the first year after the initial purchase. After that, 50% of the current purchase price will be payable (unless you are a suscriber, see below).

It is recommended that you backup your data before upgrading.

What's in the upgrade?

The improvements you'll find in an upgrade will, of course, depend upon the version you had installed before. Upgrade features are listed in order of version, with the most recent given first. So start as far down as you need.

Why not subscribe?

For 5% of the current purchase price, payable monthly, all updates will be available free of charge. Moreover, online 1-to-1 help will be available for half an hour per month. If you have purchased within the last 10 months, you can be a subscriber without further payment until 10 months from purchase has passed, after which time payments can continue to subscribe at the rate of 5% of the original purchase price.

Upgrades are free of charge during first year or with subscription arrangement.
